2024 Reading Reflection + 2025 Reading Goals

Happy New Year! I hope your 2025 has started off well!

2024 Reading Reflection

In 2024, I made three reading goals that I did not accomplish.

  • Read at least 10 pages a day
  • Finish at least 25 books
  • Organize all books I own

I did not read every single day in 2024, which led to not being able to read at least 10 pages a day. That goal was noble, but I was unable to stick to the goal. While I did not read at least 10 pages every day, I did dedicate more time to reading in 2024 than I have in my adult life, which led to me finishing more books!

I finished 17 books in 2024. This was an exponential increase from 2023 when I only finished 5 books.

Organizing all of my books started off strong with solid progress in January and February. In March, Reading Month out of all months, I stopped. I will continue to organize in 2025, but it is no longer a reading goal, but an organizing one.

2025 Goals

I was inspired to create my 2025 Goals in a Bingo board through a few TikTok videos. I liked this idea because it was visually appealing and allowed me to be creative and purposeful when setting goals.

Instead of having one goal per box, I went with three in an A, B, C Goals format. In my mind, the C Goal is attainable based on 2024 and current position in life. The B Goal will encourage me to step out of my comfort zone, change habits and choices, and, perhaps, make lifestyle shifts. The A Goal is lofty, desirable, and ideal in the life I want to live.

Below is the Bingo card I created to keep track of goals for 2025. I am not sharing all of my goals publicly, but am planning on sharing Bingo card progress throughout the year in various ways. My 2025 Reading Goals are Box 09. Organizing all of my books one of the goals of Box 23.

2025 Reading Goals

Here are my Reading Goals for the year in the A, B, C Goal format:

  • A GOAL – Read 35+ books
  • B GOAL – Read 25 books
  • C GOAL – Read 15 books

I am looking forward to continuing to build reading routines in 2025 and enjoy reading as a hobby and learning/growth opportunity!

I’m interested in what other people are working towards in 2025, so feel free to share with me if you’d like.
